How to Make Ayurvedic Sweet Lassi for Cooling Pitta | Tikshna Agni- Digestion
Sweet Lassi (Increase Kapha. Decrease Vata, Pitta)
*Use organic ingredients without mixing organic with nonorganic for best results.
Use the recipe provided as a guide. Always consult with your AHC or AP first. Each of these recipes is intended to encourage healthy diets and inspire your creativity to substitute foods that are nourishing to your respective dosha.
2 cup yogurt
1 banana
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 cup of coconut milk
2 cardamom pods (opened)
Honey to taste
few saffron strands
Pinch cinnamon
A whole lot of LOVE
Happy music
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly for 1min. An alternative is to shake it vigorously in a bottle (with the lid on) or you can whisk it. Blend till frothy. Diluting the yogurt with more water makes it lighter for digestion.
