My Takeaway from COVID-19

I find that this COVID situation has shown me how important having a healthy immune system truly is. Over the last 7 days, I have been battling COVID, and in the last few days have been feeling stronger, healthier, and more energetic by integrating the Ayurvedic remedies I had been very passionate about.

Vitamin C-rich foods, zinc, iron, potassium, have been revitalizing my body. Light exercise such as Maharishi Yoga Asana and light weights at home, has been giving me more endurance and alleviating the body sores from COVID or whatever variant I have.

  • I have been taking a daily cup of coffee with Tumeric and brown sugar to alleviate and remove the headache and keep it from returning.

  • Drinking the Orange Tumeric smoothie I posted the other day.

  • Will share the meal I made that gave much enriching nourishment of wild rice, black beans, guac, hummus, cauliflower, kale, which are high in vitamins and proteins.

  • and making sure I get plenty of rest

  • as well as watching funny things to make me laugh (cause laughter is damn good medicine)

    I have an appointment for another test tomorrow and ofcourse am anxious to get back to teaching in person, but need to be safe and have continued teaching consistently online.

I also updated the Jai Bhakti Yoga YouTube channel and have classes scheduled daily for the rest of the year!!!! I am currently updating the Jai Bhakti Yoga membership site with a ton of on-demand high-quality video classes as well as the Ayurvedic recipes, workbook, dosha quiz, and affirmation calendar to support maintaining optimal health for members and reduce the price of the membership so it is accessible for anyone and everyone along with a free trial period.

It is so important that you all have as much content as possible to stay healthy and keep your immune systems strong vaxxed or not vaxxed so that you are always at your peak and do not have to be away from friends and loved ones. COVID really disrupts your life plans, travel, and connections but also reveals to you so much about your inner strength. Like @koyawebb says, what “you go through, you grow through,” and I have definitely grown a lot from this experience….
