What does JBYF aim to accomplish by 2025?
* Hosting monthly health and wellness seminars/events for our Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), underrepresented, and special needs communities by providing them with wellness classes and courses, health education, and support resources through V.I.B.R.A.N.T
* Providing weekly yoga, Ayurveda, meditation classes, and workshops at centralized locations and collaborative businesses accessible to our minority, low-income, disadvantaged, special needs, and differently-abled communities.
* FREE classes weekly for first responders, veterans, disabled, elderly, and their families and/or caregivers.
* Increase grant awards for qualifying students for our Ayurveda Yoga Teacher Training Program registered with Yoga Alliance.
* Employ our graduates to lead classes and provide business mentorship and start-up guidance.
* Release 300 and 500hr Ayurveda Yoga Teacher Training Programs registered with Yoga Alliance.
* Award students the opportunity to travel abroad and learn the culture, customs, and history of yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and wellness practices from their origins.
* Provide tools to students and facilities such as blankets, bolsters, mats, straps, and various yoga props to kickstart wellness programs.

Partnered with local nonprofits such as FitNola, NOBA, NORDC, Magnolia Community Center for Adults with Developmental Disabilities, Lighthouse for the Blind, Lambeth House, Covenant House, Mercy Endeavors, Jefferson Parish Recreation and Parks, to offer yoga programs to our diversified and special needs communities.

From 2015 - to the present we have and are continuing to impact over 5,057 young adults, 1,624 veterans/ active duty service members, 2,467 special needs and disabled students, 723+ Seniors, 2,900 beginner students, pioneered 3 large and community-driven well-attended yoga classes for New Orleans to include Bilingual (Spanish /English), Aqua Yoga, Chair Yoga.
Donated $1097 to WWOZ supporting the local musicians and radio station
Gifted over 350 yoga mats in partnership with Give Back Yoga Foundation
Gifted over 4 grants for Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga retreat experiences.
Integrating holistic preventative care and educational program services such as yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic wellness in partnership with organizations serving these individuals instills discipline, a sense of accomplishment, and accountability resulting from healthy organized activities. Studies have shown a considerable reduction in addiction to illicit drugs and substance abuse, depression, and suicide.
Saving anywhere from $11billion to $300billion a year in substance abuse including tobacco, alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription drugs.
Positive increases in mental, emotional, and physical health while reducing healthcare costs for seniors, elderly, young adults, and youths for “treatment” and prevention of addiction to illicit drugs and substance abuse, depression, and suicide. Healthcare costs are reduced by “$2,360 annually.”
Quality programming such as Chair, Aqua, Gentle, and Restorative Yoga and fitness classes, TM (Transcendental Meditation), Ayurveda Health Consultations, and courses in senior centers, community centers, libraries, and medical centers. These classes are free to all with grant provisions.
