50 Minute Yin Yoga Serenity Flow & Restore

Take time to slow down and deeply connect to your core. Finding the space of intuition and concentration. Explore various options in the poses that we hold and always adjust, adapt, and modify the poses to work for your body.

What Is Yin Yoga?

The practice of opening up the hips and diving into the areas of the body where we store an incredible amount of tension, hurt, memories, and static energy.

How Does Yin Yoga Work?

In yin, we hold poses for 3-5 mins to give the body the time it needs to open up and release into accepting the subtle transformations of emotional releases that in turn alleviate areas of dis-ease that ultimately lead to disease.

What Are The Benefits of Yin Yoga?

Yin yoga provides the practitioner the tools through working with breath and body awareness to go beyond the superficial plane and dig into the origin of the discomfort or disease.

We use props such as blocks, pillows, blankets, chairs, straps, and bolsters as a way to ease the body into the opening, meeting yourself where you are on your mat today.

Always listen to your body and adapt the poses to work for you. All Bodies are different. In this video, we work on spinal rotation and use gentle poses that are accessible to most practitioners. Modifications offer alternative solutions to make these few poses a bit more adaptive.

Utilize the props as needed.
