The Moment I Recognized the Imbalance In My Life…

I have been packing in WAAAAY too much into my day. There is not enough of me to give to all the areas of my life that require my attention. This is where I am “losing myself” to myself because I am allowing myself to be in control and not live in the space of effortlessness and “going with the flow.”

“There is no harmony when I am the one getting in the way of my own peace. “

Pranamaya kosha focuses on processing and lately, I have not felt so much myself. The imbalance comes from the fire of the Pitta that is hungry to burst into action, make progress, and taking matters into my own hands. Yet, a heaviness from my Kapha side wants to slow down and gather a better understanding of all the variables, while Vata is anxious to get it done adjusting course as it comes…

“I have been so focused on myself on the gross level, that I have not been aware of all that is attributing to my growth. I was “too into myself.”

Beginning today, I commit to a healthier routine to restore balance by first focusing on:

  • my surroundings

  • the foods I nourish myself with

  • making time for proper rest

  • spending time with uplifting loved ones

A healthy body that is cared for, a well-rested mind, and daily yoga and meditation practice, will support balancing out the doshic constitutions to perform at the maximum.

In order to find my Self, I had to lose myself.

I needed this time to process and consider the paths, people, and places, that led me to where I am and the fire that fuels the desire to do what my dharma is.

Namaste and Blessed Be.
