From Empty to Full: Embracing God Consciousness through Higher States Part 2 of 2

As prayer is the way we commune with God and meditation is our way of listening to God.

Mental, emotional, physical, and economic well-being has skyrocketed over the last few years, and recently, it seems the weight of the world is falling on many more shoulders. Some are still stuck within their own mind like a twisted fun house at a carnival without knowing the way out.

In the last few days, I have been presented with loved ones that have passed, are suffering horrible bouts of depression, isolation, lack of interest in things once adored, trapped in a pity party (victim mindset), loneliness, self-defeat, and poor eating habits. Adding to the pain.

It is one thing to hold the space for someone, another to share wisdom, another to provide advice when they are seeking it, and the best, just to be a soundboard for them to be heard. Sometimes, that is all one needs. Feels like you hit rock bottom.

As someone once told me, “How Bad Does it Have to Get” so you can get aligned with your Self again?

Over the last few weeks, we have been embracing the different levels of consciousness, and we are wrapping up the second half focused on God or Glorified consciousness. Aligning with God's Consciousness and living our Dharma during one of the most challenging times…. If you let it be.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offers this statement in his book, (2001). Science of Being and art of living. (p.32),  "Dr.Albert Einstein propounded the theory of relativity and said that everything in the universe is relative and the existence of different worlds and forms and phenomena can only be accounted for in terms of relativity. But here we have made a statement which says that the absolute, remaining absolute, expresses Itself in the relative states of creation. The Being remaining in Its never-changing, the eternal absolute character is found expressing Itself in the different forms and phenomena of the diverse creation.”

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi uses the word, “diverse” - to my understanding having many manifestations or variables. Therefore, one may consider, that there are many ways to reach God. God, the Being of consciousness that dwells within. The state of consciousness we are in will determine the state in which one sees the world.

I appreciate the willingness to dive into God-consciousness and that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi says in his book, “When Einstein says all that exists in the universe, it can only be understood in terms of relativity, he is not wrong, because his Theory of Relativity concerns itself only with the manifested field of creation, which is the realm of physical science.”

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said in one of his lectures, “When we are analyzing our own experience, we are knowing our own consciousness because experience is just a phase of consciousness.

So what are we doing? We are entering into ourselves.” (Maharishi)

I came to discover that there is no running away from yourself because there is no running away from God who is always with you as the divine soul Self dwelling within.

The ocean, the sun, moon, galaxies, and every Being we come in contact with. We can not run away from the sun, it illuminates everything. We can take shade, or a cloud may cover the sun for a moment, but it is always there. It is how we maintain a relationship with the unchanging that determines the changing factors.

My unique journey may not be understood or believed by others based on “what sources of knowledge people are drawing on,” Dr.Collins (Paradigms Pt.2 2.2), but it is still my journey. What one is experiencing right now, good or bad, hell or paradise, is still their journey and is based on:

A) the state of consciousness that they are in, and

B) the source of knowledge they are drawing on.

Now, this is the kicker, for me, my spiritual walk, and that source of knowledge were discovered at a New Assembly of God church that had a powerful spirit-filled sanctuary that moved me to tears.

It was there that I fell to my knees consumed with a flood of emotion and sensations that striped something away so intensely that I felt raw, vulnerable, and held, with a peace that surpassed all understanding. I went in one way and left a completely different person.

That day began my relationship with higher consciousness.  I dedicated my life to becoming a devotee of God (Brahma / Ananda). God has been directing my path effortlessly and life simply sorts itself out naturally.

I began to understand the acceptance of everything considered a “coincidence” as more so “serendipitous.” Spontaneous guidance and being able to see things much more vibrantly was my first experience with glorified or God-consciousness.

Hearing the words of God clearly, I began to develop gifts that enhanced my life and enriched my spiritual relationship and relationships with others I would have otherwise once closed myself off to for not sharing like beliefs from a legalistic former paradigm.

I began TM (and continue) this meditation practice 2x a day for 20mins, that seemed as though I am in a portal of sorts receiving very clear visions, insights, and answers yet unattached to any of it.  I once was blocked from receiving, based on my former paradigm belief for possibly thinking “am I doing something wrong” or ‘Pagan.’

Anais Nin said, "We don't see the world as it is, We see it as we are."

Channeling through deep meditation and yoga asana became the way I speak to higher consciousness, and the responses are in languages that are a challenge to describe in words. It seems to manifest itself through the chakra system which will be discussed at a later time.

I gave up old behaviors, friends, acquaintances, and activities that were no longer progressive and have embarked on surrounding myself with like-minded individuals to further nourish my personal growth. Inviting traditional wisdom. I also started respecting my values and myself more, knowing what I don’t like, and what makes me uncomfortable, and being bold enough to share that with others no matter the outcome.

After all, as Maharishi Mahesh Yoga says,  “the discovery by our current state of beliefs could very well just be the experiences that we have embodied that have been guided by our innate nature.”

Texts such as Pantajali's Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible, and the Upanishads including the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi from Ayurvedic and Vedic literature, each have solidified the paradigm, in my opinion, the absolute truth, which I have come to embrace.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi explains in his video lecture ‘The Three Eurekas,’ that “ancient seers cognized the fundamental laws of progress. They recorded it. Through consciousness, they cognize that it is true. It is real. Modern seers, scientists, take an object, take a telescope, take a microscope, through the instrument they cognize and it is true and real.”

This is like focusing on one thing of the whole situation and creating a story around it so as to validate its value as to why you may be attached to that sensation, pain, experience, etc.

To paraphrase Maharishi, The surface level of our thoughts is all just subjective, it’s what we’re experiencing on the relative level, the relative plane. When you consider the idea of God, there are many different variables that speak to the nature of God. The many different pathways to finding God. We consider the depth of our own innate divine being of God-consciousness already dwelling, 'gut instinct' if you will, begins to awaken the state of pure consciousness of listening to the higher Self. Beyond that, lies the very essence of the never-changing, omnipresent, unbound source of all creation. I mean, there is no other unchanging source.

In the last few days, those loved ones that have passed, who are suffering horrible bouts of depression, isolation, lack of interest in things once adored, trapped in the victim mentality, loneliness, self-defeat, poor eating habits, and growing through this pain, know that YOU DO have the power to get out of it.

Especially if you are choosing life and waking up the next day. You are still fighting, and are still the warrior that won’t give up. YOU are making the choice to choose better.

A source in the essence of itself creates itself, and therefore it is the “fullness of emptiness and the emptiness of fullness” moving back unto itself." (Maharishi)
